Our school is looking to appoint an excellent practitioner who has a real understanding and passion for supporting and teaching children.
You must be able to effectively deliver high quality, creative, child-centred and challenging learning experiences to individuals, smaller groups and whole classes. While you will be based in KS2, you will be required to provide cover across the whole school (EYFS, KS1 + KS2), as and when necessary.
We would like to interview you if you:
- Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Teaching Qualification
- Can deliver whole-class teaching to a good or higher standard
- Have a range of strategies to promote excellent behaviour
- Have strategies to promote successful progress for a wide range of abilities
- Able to work in a team, lead support staff and be willing to share ideas and learn from others
- Can use and develop ICT effectively to support and enhance learning
- Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Are very positive, calm, flexible and pro-active
