Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) job summary
The Academy Council are looking to appoint a highly motivated, passionate and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team from January 2025.
The successful candidate will initially join our highly skilled and committed Key Stage 2 team. However, they will be expected to cover across all areas within the school and Nursery. Applicants should be someone with high expectations who are committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will:
Have a significant amount of experience (ideally in all year groups)
Have experience in leading and working together in a team.
Be creative, enthusiastic practitioner who brings their own style and skills to support the excellent work developed in our school.
Be a caring and understanding person who enjoys working with children and who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning.
Have the ability to work in a close team to achieve the best for our children and school community.
Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
Essential experience: Supporting and covering across both KS1 and KS2.
Desirable experience: EYFS
