Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - 2 term contract
Start date: January 2020 or as soon as possible after.
Salary: AST Grade 5.13-16 FTE £21,350 - £23,132 (pro-rata)
The School Stakeholder Committee at Krishna Avanti Primary School in Leicester (part of the Avanti Schools Trust) are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
The school has 420 children on role and has an inclusive ethos rooted in the teachings of Krishna Chaitanya, but welcomes pupils and staff of all faiths and abilities.

Krishna Avanti Primary School is a Hindu-faith Free School for boys and girls that opened in September 2011. We are at full capacity with 420 pupils.
The school is set in 5 acres of land, on Spencefield Lane in Leicester, in Evington Hall. The Grade 2 listed building was built for the High Sheriff of Leicester and was also once a Catholic Convent. The main house has great character with beautiful features including an extraordinary library area. It is set in tranquil grounds making this a wonderful site for an excellent learning environment for all children of any faith and background and providing a spacious learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
Krishna Avanti Primary School is an inclusive Hindu faith school that provides a warm, friendly and engaging learning environment for children from all backgrounds and walks of life. Staff and students at the school do not originate from any specific faith background. Applications are welcome from practitioners of any faith and from those of none.
The staff at Krishna Avanti Primary School are passionate about our school and are relentlessly focused on improving the achievement and opportunities for all our students.
