Manston St James C of E Primary Academy situated in East Leeds, holds a good reputation in the community, we work together to promote our core purpose to educate the whole child, through uniting excellence and academic rigour with spiritual, social, moral, and cultural development – enabling every child to flourish.
The Academy is seeking a dedicated HLTA who is able to provide a high standard of service to the Academy. The academy has dedicated staff and wonderful children who take pride in their school.
We are looking to hear from talented individuals who can:

- A highly motivated and hard-working person with the capacity to contribute to the on-going development of the academy.

Manston St. James CofE Primary Academy is a two-form entry primary school located in East Leeds. Founded over 150 years ago, the school became an academy in 2012, joined Abbey Multi Academy Trust in 2017, and has strong links within the local community.
We are proud to be a positive, vibrant and purposeful primary school, where we are passionate about ensuring that all our young people are successful, happy and well prepared for life beyond primary school. We take our partnership with parents very seriously and we work with them to achieve the best possible outcomes for their children.
From Reception through to Year 6, we provide our children with a curriculum that develops a love of learning and activates their enquiring minds. We fully support the children being involved in the design of their learning journey and favour an enquiry based, creative curriculum underpinned with basic skills. Each half term the curriculum is delivered through a literature focus, be topic-based or through a current topical issue. We expect there to be lively and engaging learning experiences for all the children with visitors and first-hand experiences to help bring the curriculum to life.
