About Lambourn C of E Primary School

Our school, which is situated in the stunning Lambourn Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has extensive grounds and state of the art resources. Our site provides opportunities for outdoor experiences and learning. We are one of the only primary schools in West Berkshire to have an outdoor heated swimming pool enabling us to provide free weekly swimming lessons for Year 1 to Year 6 in addition to stay and swim for reception.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our ambitious and supportive team in Upper Key Stage 2.

Fixed Term Contract initially until 31st August 2027 with possibility of extension

Term-time plus 3 INSET days

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA who can inspire children, support excellent teaching and confidently lead learning when required.

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong experience working within Key Stage 2.

Can lead whole-class learning and interventions effectively.

Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and inclusion.

Builds positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.

Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
