Working closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff, you'll help deliver high-quality learning experiences, lead planned lessons when required, and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of needs. You'll be someone who can inspire confidence, nurture potential and create a positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated to succeed.

What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
  • Have experience in supporting and delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning 
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.

Start Date: ASAP 

Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 - £28,009

Actual Salary: £22,422.64

Contract Type: Permanent, term time only. 

Hours: 33.5hrs per week 

Closing Date: 18th October 2026
