The role includes supporting and supervising children during the school lunch break.

The working hours will be from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday and Tuesday with a 30 minute lunch break. The role is temporary in the first instance, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Do you have…?

  • Experience of working in primary aged classrooms, with key stage 1 and 2 pupils
  • A recognised HLTA qualification, working towards completing the qualification in the near future or have relevant experience

  • Excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with our children, their families, staff and external agencies
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • High expectations of behaviour and are able to use initiative to support both the learning and pastoral needs of pupils
  • A calm approach and are able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
  • A desire for further CPD, an ability to attend necessary meetings and contribute to the positive ethos of our school
  • If so, you could be our next HLTA, and join our great team of staff.

We can offer you:

  • An excellent working environment – we’ve just refurbished our library!
  • A highly effective, supportive and experienced team of staff
  • Friendly, polite and motivated pupils
  • A strong well-being culture
  • Access to Norfolk Support Service, Musculoskeletal Support, Cycle-to-Work Scheme
  • Regular CPD and a place to grow – we are a member of VNET package offering professional development opportunities
