Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – 32.5 hours, term time only - Grade
7; £25,878 - 29,439 pro rata, per annum

The
Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated HLTA to join our
tuition team at Oakfield Lodge School. This is an exciting opportunity for
a like minded individual to join a small team who are passionate about
improving the life chances of our students. The post holder will be working
with students to improve outcomes in a small group or 1:1 basis both onsite at
Oakfield Lodge School and across Cheshire East at a variety of venues.

The post
holder will support our students to re-engage with education and make both social
and academic progress. The role is
varied with each student having a bespoke curriculum which meets their
individual strengths and interests. Curriculum subjects at KS3 and KS4 are
taught using a bank of fully prepared lessons put together by onsite subject specialists.  The post includes planning activities to
enhance cultural capital.

you feel confident to deliver KS3 and KS4 lessons from google classroom?

Have
you got experience of motivating and inspiring young people with challenging
behaviour in secondary education?

Are
you confident, determined and motivated to promote a positive approach to
learning and a positive view of self and others

·        
Do
you work efficiently, effectively and remain calm, consistent and solution
focused under pressure?

The
successful candidate will work with our students to help remove barriers to learning. Working largely with our tuition
team, the candidate therefore must be willing to travel. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with being able to
demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence.

It is
essential that the applicants have a driving license and access to a car.
