• Actual salary: Grade 6, £18,775.53 - £20,575.98 per annum (unqualified), Grade 7, £20,958.45 - £23,109.94 per annum (qualified)
• Pay scale: Grade 6, Scale Range 12 – 17 (Unqualified) or Grade 7, Scale Range 18 – 23 (Qualified)

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision, under the direction of a teacher. They will also manage and develop a specialist area within the school.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

• has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils.
• will make a difference in changing children’s life chances.
• has the skills and abilities to support children of all abilities and personal needs.
• can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
• has the ability to form effective relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
