Are you an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner looking for the next step in your career? Do you have the skills, confidence and passion to support high-quality teaching and learning across a vibrant and inclusive primary school?

Manor Fields Primary School is a thriving, oversubscribed school with an excellent reputation in the local community. We are a welcoming single-form entry primary school with a Specialist Resource Base, committed to providing high-quality education and care for all our pupils.

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) & Midday Meals Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting teaching and learning across the school while also helping to create a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

The successful candidate will primarily support teaching and learning within our mainstream school, delivering planned learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes. There may also be opportunities to work within our Specialist Resource Base, offering valuable experience of both mainstream and specialist provision within an inclusive setting.

As both an HLTA and Midday Meals Supervisor, you will play a key role in children's academic, social and emotional development throughout the school day. From leading learning in the classroom and supporting pupil progress to promoting positive relationships and independence during lunchtime, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and keen to further develop their knowledge and skills within a supportive and ambitious school community.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds HLTA status.
  • Has experience of supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range.
  • Can confidently lead learning with individuals, small groups and whole classes.
  • Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion.
  • Is able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Is flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Has a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
We can offer:
  • Wonderful children who are enthusiastic, respectful and eager to learn.
  • A welcoming, supportive and dedicated staff team.
  • The opportunity to gain experience across both mainstream and specialist provision.
  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities for career progression.
  • A positive school culture where wellbeing, teamwork and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
  • The chance to contribute to innovative and inclusive practice within a thriving school.

If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact on children's learning, wellbeing and development, we would love to hear from you.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
