About the role
We are seeking a committed and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a strong focus on Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and inclusion, who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students across a range of abilities, including those with SLCN difficulties, and will be confident in planning, delivering and assessing targeted interventions for individuals and small groups. You will bring a strong understanding of effective SLCN strategies, differentiation, and inclusive teaching practices, alongside the ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners both inside and outside the classroom.

You will be a collaborative and proactive professional who can work effectively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to improve pupil outcomes. Strong communication, organisational skills and the ability to use data to inform interventions are essential. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, calm under pressure and committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing, with a genuine dedication to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. A willingness to contribute to wider academy life, including enrichment activities and ongoing professional development, is also key to success in this role.
