About the role: We have a rare and exciting opportunity to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join us at Snowfields Academy, which opened in September 2020. Starting as soon as possible, this role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and also a fantastic opportunity for those who already have a relevant qualification and experience in an HLTA capacity. Candidates who are appointed will receive full support and training from colleagues where required, and we offer the chance to work with the most incredible students and staff alike!

This is a permanent position offering 37 hours per week during Term Time + 1 week inset (Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and 4.00pm finish on Fridays). The actual salary offered is £21,163 (£24,605 full time equivalent)

What are we looking for in you? Applicants will have previous experience of working with young people, either in an academic setting or as a voluntary worker. You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy. You will be committed to personal learning and development, and have a sincere commitment to sharing our long-term aims and drive for continuous improvement. The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
