What skills and experience we're looking for

St Ann’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a hard-working and highly organised individual to

undertake the important role of HLTA. The position will be based in EYFS/KS1, therefore an understanding of the

EYFS and KS1 curriculum is required, however as an HLTA there will be an expectation to cover classes in KS2

if required at times.

St Ann’s is a happy, exciting and busy Catholic primary school currently catering for 99 wonderful children

between the ages of four and eleven years. Our building environment is beautiful and reflects the excellent

standards of achievement and passion we have for education. You will be joining a well-established, committed

and friendly team, who are making a positive contribution to the lives of all our pupils.

The post is a key appointment for the continued strive for excellence of our inspiring school team; our aim is to

find the right person to join our school. Our main criterion for this appointment is an excellent teaching assistant,

who loves teaching with an absolute commitment and willingness to continue to learn, reflect and improve.

We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who:
