Contract: Permanent, 39 weeks (term time only plus 1 week)

Hours: 10 hours

Working pattern: 1.15pm to 3.45pm x 4 days a week (days can be flexible)

Your role:

As an HLTA, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences. You’ll work with whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils—sometimes independently, sometimes alongside teachers—supporting a wide range of learning needs. From planning and delivering curriculum activities to promoting positive behaviour and inclusion, your work will directly impact pupil progress and well-being.

You’ll need a relevant HLTA or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, experience working with primary-aged children, and a strong grasp of the national curriculum. Your ability to adapt, communicate effectively, and support children with diverse needs will be essential. A willingness to undertake first aid training is also important.
