Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for a Higher Lever Teaching Assistant to support the teaching team by teaching classes in Reception through to Year 6, whilst teachers take their PPA time. The role will be to deliver up to nine sessions of cover per week with weekly time to prepare for your teaching sessions.
A caring, supportive person who enjoys working with children and who is adaptable to the spontaneity of young children will suit this role well. The candidate needs to be someone who understands the development of young children and fully understands the demands of working in the primary sector, resulting in pride and pleasure at the impact your support can have on their development.
Working with children within a school setting is demanding, but very rewarding.
