Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development? At West Walton, we're looking for a committed HLTA to join our inclusive and nurturing school community.
About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will:
- Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Provide targeted support for individual pupils and small groups.
- Cover whole-class teaching during teacher PPA or absence, as required.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
- Help maintain a stimulating and positive learning environment.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Has proven experience working within a primary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
- Is confident delivering learning across the primary age range.
- Is proactive, flexible, and committed to supporting the whole child.
