Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
Do you have a passion for working with children?
We are seeking an experienced HLTA with vision and high expectations for learning to work across our school providing whole class teaching and learning support, delivering lessons during teachers’ PPA time, and supporting the school’s values.
35 hours per week 39 weeks per year - term time plus 5 inset days - 08:00 - 16:00 with an hour lunch break.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to teamwork are essential to this role, as is proven experience delivering whole class lessons, strong experience in literacy and numeracy, and a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage.
A degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the children and the school.
