About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help deliver high-quality learning experiences for pupils. You will provide targeted support to individuals and groups, contribute to lesson delivery and, where appropriate, lead learning activities to help pupils achieve their full potential.

  • Direct and monitor the implementation of specific outcome targets outlined in pupils' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with the SENCo to track SEND pupil progress, evaluate the efficacy of interventions, and adjust provisions to accelerate learning outcomes.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Experience working with strategies specifically for SEN pupils.
  • Able to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people - pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Excellent communicator - sensitive, compassionate and effective.
