We’re looking for a passionate, engaging and innovative History Teacher to bring our team to the next level, either a keen ECT looking to develop their expertise with support from a motivated team, or an experienced teacher ready to put their stamp on their teaching offering. This is the perfect time to join our team - we are well on the way to becoming an outstanding faculty, with consistently improving results and 33% A* at A level.
History is part of the Humanities Faculty and is a team of experienced, specialist teachers led by the Head of History. All staff are committed to ensuring that students achieve their full potential in History and Politics. The Humanities Faculty has a strong ethos based on collaboration and support.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Delivering high-quality teaching.
• Establishing a stimulating environment for all students, setting challenging targets that build on prior attainment.
• Working with colleagues to develop the History offering in line with the vision and ethos of the Academy.
