Salary: MPS - UPS - £32,916 - £51,048 FTE
Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year from January 2027.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our team at Pilton Community College – a truly inclusive school committed to excellence.
The ideal candidate will not only bring enthusiasm for teaching but also a strong understanding of the science behind how students learn, using evidence-informed strategies to support every learner in reaching their full potential.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Teach History across the age and ability range in accordance with the requirements of a professionally qualified teacher;
• Adapt and deliver lessons to students according to their educational needs and with reference to prior attainment and SEND as required;
• Set high expectations for all students;
• Embrace the continued professional development programme within the school, striving to be a lifelong learner, maximising opportunities to make impact within the role.

This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
