Permanent 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HLTA – EHCP & SEND Administrator to work within our setting. The successful candidate will be working with our SEND Team providing the Administration Support to the SENDCo and the Trust Director of SEND.
Job purpose:
- The role includes delivering high quality SEND administration outcomes.
- Working on EHCNA Referrals, gathering paperwork for submissions. Annual Review paperwork collation for Worcestershire County Council and Birmingham SENAR
- The HLTA will work under the direction of the SENDCo ensuring all pupil filing is done to a very high standard, communication with parents/carers and all external agency and specialist visitors to both schools, updating and maintaining the Inclusion & SEND registers, compiling and recording data, and have a confident use of our ARBOR MIS
- The HLTA will lead on the new Provision mapping software.
- The HLTA will support teachers in passport updates and the collection and collation of paperwork for external referrals (Umbrella Pathway and Community Paediatrics) and any other external applications.
You must be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, work as part of a team as well as use your own initiative, have a good understanding of and be sensitive to the range of additional needs that pupils can experience. You will work as part of dedicated and passionate SEND team, working to achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils.
