We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team at Foxford School as a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide specific support to our Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) students. In this role you provide high level support to our students experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance, working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and families to improve attendance, emotional wellbeing, and engagement on learning.
You should already have experience of working with children and have an understanding of how to motivate students to learn. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
This role will involve supporting students who may exhibit behavioural, emotional or social problems in school, to achieve their full potential.
