What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and talented Deputy SENCo to work closely with the SENCo in the strategic and operational delivery of high quality, trauma informed provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities with the aim of identifying needs and raising SEN student achievement.

This role will take a lead role in coordinating exam access arrangements for students in line with JCQ regulations, and where necessary test students. They will manage the operation of the learning support area (BOOST) to create a safe, secure learning base where students with a SEN can access personalised and targeted support to overcome barriers to learning. This role will oversee the work of the Inclusion Support Assistant to ensure effective, timely and targeted interventions for students
