• Job role:
  • HLTA (higher level teaching assistant)
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Working pattern: Part time: 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break, 32 hours and 30 minutes per week for 39 weeks per year.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: £30,518 to £33,699 pro rata
• Actual salary: approximately £22,956 pa
• Pay scale: Grade 6 , SCP 16-22

What skills and experience we're looking for

• have experience of working with children in an educational setting;

• have awareness of SEND needs and how these needs can impact children's learning;

• have completed TA qualifications to at least Level 3 or equivalent;

• have strong positive behaviour management strategies;

• work with children who have specific SEND needs;

• support the ethos of the school;

• be enthusiastic and reflective;

• be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff;

• be an excellent communicator;

• have proven experience and impact when teaching groups of children in schools.
