Cedar Children’s Academy are seeking a dedicatedHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)to join their team.

As a HLTA, you will work across the school, leading learning and providing high-quality class cover in the absence of teachers, as well as delivering targeted interventions and support for individual pupils and small groups. You will work collaboratively with teachers to raise standards of achievement, promote inclusion, and help every child reach their full potential.

What we are looking for:

  • HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
  • Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners.
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
