Working pattern

Part time: 13 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday) Term Time plus 5 Training Days (39 weeks per year) This appointment is offered on a temporary fixed-term basis from 2 November 2026 to 31 December 2026. An extension may be considered following a review of the school's staffing requirements and operational needs, although no guarantee of continued employment can be given. Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally 2 November 2026

What skills and experience we're looking for

Applicants should:

  • Hold HLTA status, QTS or another appropriate qualification relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrate experience of supporting teaching and learning within a primary setting.
  • Have the skills and confidence to lead whole-class learning activities independently.
  • Demonstrate effective behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a wider staff team.

The role may involve working across different year groups and curriculum areas as required by the school. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute positively to the ethos and values of the school and federation.
