What skills and experience we're looking for
Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is a four-form entry school situated in an ethnically and religiously diverse community. We are very proud of the progress that all of our pupils make during their time with us which is evidenced in our excellent SATs results over recent years. In our recent Ofsted inspection (February 2023), we were graded Good: ‘Pupils are safe and happy at this friendly, welcoming school. Their conduct is exemplary in lessons and around school.’
Ours is a highly inclusive church school and spirituality underpins our values and culture. The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring HLTA to work across all year groups in KS2. You will provide support for small groups of children and will be expected to carry out PPA and cover relief across school. You should have a good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum. We are a vibrant and happy community committed to nurturing and developing each child and member of staff to achieve their best.
