HLTA/Senior Teaching Assistant job summary

Are you:

  • a versatile practitioner who meets the HLTA standards and is able to demonstrate a hardworking ethos
  • a highly efficient practitioner who is able to use his/her own initiative with confidence
  • experienced with working across the Primary age range and be familiar with the current agenda/initiatives for educational improvements
  • an effective team member willing to contribute to the group but also able to work independently and on their own initiative
  • able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to build rapport with adults and children both verbally and in writing
  • flexible with effective time management skills
  • able to show the knowledge and ability to deliver a range of intervention programmes to secure accelerated progress
  • confident to work effectively with individual pupils, small groups and whole classes to deliver agreed lessons and learning objectives or intervention programmes.
