HLTA job summary

HLTA

We require a HLTA to work with children across all year groups - supporting individuals, small groups and classes. A strong knowledge of supporting children Special Educational Needs and Disabilities will be needed.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young children's learning and development, enjoy working as part of a team and to cover PPA when required.

The candidate needs to promote consistently high levels of behaviour and learning.

We are looking for candidates who ideally have:

• An HLTA qualification or above or can demonstrate that they can meet the HLTA standards.
• The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
• A positive and nurturing manner
• Knowledge of a range of learning and behaviour strategies
