HLTA job summary
St. Mary’s Junior Academy requires a HLTA starting in September 2022 who has an understanding and experience with KS2 children with Special Education Needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HLTA to support our team at St. Mary’s Church of England Junior Academy from the start of the new academic year. This post would be suitable for an HLTA looking to work in a caring, supportive and forward thinking school and Trust.

• has experience with KS2 children
• has a commitment to promoting high standards and helping children to be the best that they can be.
• has the potential to be a consistently good/outstanding HLTA
• has good behaviour/relationship management skills
• is able to plan creatively activities that will stimulate, excite and inspire children.
• has the ability to communicate with the whole school community.
• has a sense of fun!
This post comes under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. St. Mary’s C of E Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A DBS check will be required and the appointment will be subject to satisfactory references.
