Home School Link Worker job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Home School Link Worker to support pupils and their families at Furzefield Primary School. You will need to be patient and calm, with a consistent and positive approach, and will need to be able to communicate well and work alongside local agencies, such as the inclusion officers, health workers and social workers. You will need to be a flexible team player with a sense of humour and an optimistic outlook. Although not essential, experience of working with SEND children would be an advantage.

Furzefield is a vibrant community school set in beautiful grounds in Merstham, Surrey, providing education for pupils aged 3-11 years and in November 2017 had its Good school status endorsed again by Ofsted. We offer a creative and rich curriculum that promotes learning outside the classroom, including Forest School. Staff are friendly and supportive, our classrooms are well resourced and our pupils are well behaved and eager to learn. We have approximately 480 pupils on roll, a Nursery School, a Family Centre and a Specialist Resource Centre for 14 pupils.
