What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an inspirational home tutor to join our school.
As a Home Tutor, you will provide personalised educational support to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who are unable to attend school. Working closely with pupils and their families, you will deliver engaging learning tailored to individual needs, promote positive wellbeing and progress, maintain high safeguarding standards, and support successful reintegration into education where appropriate.
This role welcomes Teachers from either a mainstream secondary or specialist education background with exceptional teaching and learning skills, and a passion to provide the best education for all learners.
Our aim is to ensure that every single child and young person gets the support they need to progress and reach their full potential. This will be achieved by improving the quality of education and crucially, by raising aspiration and expectations of staff, pupils and their families

Welcome to the Bromley Beacon Academy. We offer Key Stage 1 to 5 provision for young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) Needs. We provide both boys and girls a fantastic opportunity to specialise in vocational subject areas in a. safe and happy learning environment. We aim to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and resilience that supports our students to grow into purposeful young adults also they are able to contribute to society in a positive way.
As Headteacher, my ambition is to drive the accomplishment further. My team and I are committed to helping our young learners develop the essential skills they need to be happy, confident and successful - enabling them to flourish in their future lives.
