You will have strong organisational and administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies and missing information. You will take ownership of your work, enjoy problem-solving, and be committed to maintaining high-quality records and delivering an exceptional service to colleagues across the Trust.
Essential:
- Experience working in an administrative role within a busy office environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Desirable:
- Experience of HR administration or employee lifecycle administration.
- Experience using management information systems and platforms or HR systems.
- Knowledge of payroll administration processes.
- Experience working within the education sector

We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly detail-focused HR Administration Assistant to join our HR Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on delivering excellent service and takes pride in ensuring processes are completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
As our HR Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting colleagues across our Trust by managing employee lifecycle administration and maintaining our HR systems. You will be responsible for producing employee contractual documentation, processing employee changes and ensuring our records, systems and platforms remain accurate, compliant and regularly reviewed for data quality.
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys administration, has exceptional attention to detail, takes pride in maintaining accurate records, and can confidently identify and resolve discrepancies within data and processes. A methodical approach and commitment to delivering a professional, high-quality service to both employees and managers are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing employee contracts, variation letters and other employment documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Processing employee changes and maintaining accurate personnel records.
- Supporting payroll administration and ensuring changes are processed accurately and on time.
- Managing and maintaining HR systems and platforms, including Smartlog, Simply Health, Bromcom and The Key.
- Undertaking regular data quality checks to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Responding to routine enquiries and providing high-quality administrative support to employees and managers.
- Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR and Trust requirements.
- Supporting compliance monitoring and HR administration processes.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and administrative processes.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the People Team to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.
