About Corby Business Academy;
We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational, and highly motivated HR Administrator to join our academy. The successful candidate will be the main contact for on site HR queries with a supportive HR Central team and a dedicated HR advisory service to assist in any support needed to achieve a smooth HR function. We are looking for someone with HR experience who will be required to take the lead with low level HR enquires, recruitment, onboarding and case management . Ideally the right candidate will have experience within education due to the unique nature of the role and will have some experience in managing a Single Central Record (SCR), however full training will be given so this is not essential. We are looking for the right person to join the team in the New Year to work alongside our current HR Administrator before they go onto Maternity leave in April 2024. This will be a fixed term contract lasting no less than 12 months.
Corby Business Academy is a school committed to providing the very best for the community it serves. We have already undergone significant change in recent years under new leadership and our goals for further development remain ambitious. We work relentlessly in providing a high quality broad and balanced curriculum with stimulating learning experiences for all our students. This is underpinned by our strong sense of common purpose that is palpable in the Academy’s day to day operation. We aim to actively encourage students to participate in all areas of academy life, motivating and inspiring them to unlock their potential and realise their ambitions. Our staff have an uncompromising commitment to this and work closely with one another to support and develop students as well as one another.
In April 2023 the Academy was judged to be GOOD in all areas by OFSTED, who highlighted that:
“Leaders have brought about significant improvement at this school. They focus on providing an ambitious curriculum for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)”
“Leaders have raised their expectations of pupils’ behaviour and conduct, which is having a positive impact. Pupils behave very well in lessons. During lesson changeover times and at breaktimes, the school is calm and orderly”
“Parents and carers are positive about the education their children receive. One view shared by many was, ‘My child has thrived, been supported, encouraged, cared for and listened to at this school.”
What we can offer you
Daily allowance for breakfast and lunch.
A modern building with fantastic facilities and resources.
A supportive and friendly community of staff and students.
A full induction programme.
