HR Assistant (Maternity Cover) job summary
Cheney School is looking for a HR Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for an individual to develop their knowledge and gain experience within HR! You will work closely with the HR Manager and School Business Manager to ensure the efficient running of the HR department. This position is offered for a fixed term of 6 - 9 months, working full time during term time, plus 2 INSET days, starting from January, 2024.
What skills / experience are required
This role requires the individual to be reliable, enthusiastic, organised and efficient. You need to be able to work with a high level of accuracy and have strong communication and people skills. Previous experience within a school setting and/or within a HR role is desirable.
