HR ASSISTANT

Based at: Pix Brook Academy

Salary / grade range: NJC Scale4D Points 15-20 (actual £26,000 - £28,228 per annum; FTE 29,093 - £31,586)

Responsible to: Principal & Vice Principal

Hours: 37 hrs per week, working Monday to Friday, term-time only plus one additional week (including five staff training days)

The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 11 schools and five nurseries. We are looking to appoint a committed, flexible and enthusiastic candidate to this challenging and fulfilling role within our Academy. We expect our HR Assistant to have excellent communication skills and take a fair and consistent approach regarding HR processes, whilst providing an efficient and methodical HR administration service to all staff in school. Attention to detail is a must along with an approachable manner.

The holder of this post will be solely responsible for updating and maintaining the School Central Record, ensuring that all pre-employment checks for new staff are completed to satisfactory standard prior to them joining the Academy.

This position is offered on a 37 hours a week, permanent contract working Monday to Friday.
