What skills and experience we're looking for
OHC&AT are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team and support a client group of regional schools and a college centre. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide comprehensive generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations and recruitment. You’ll work closely with school leaders to coach and train managers, build strong partnerships and help shape a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on complex HR cases with clear, risk-aware solutions
• Lead employee relations and support managers across the organisation
• Provide up-to-date HR guidance and assist with formal hearings
• Analyse HR data to drive performance improvements
• Manage complex HR issues, update policies, and lead key projects
Key Requirements:
• Solid HRBP experience, ideally with CIPD Level 5 or Chartered MCIPD
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Analytical, detail-focused, and a confident problem solver
• Excellent written communication and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
