HR Officer and Office Manager job summary
Contract details: Part time, 37 hours each week for 41 weeks
Expected start date: Monday 2nd February 2026
Salary: Grade 7, points 23 - 25 £34,434 - £36,363 (Actual salary £31,553 - £33,321 per annum)
We use NJC pay scales - Salaries start at the bottom of the advertised range (pro-rata for part time staff). Progression up the scale range is considered annually, giving opportunity for professional growth.
An opportunity has arisen in this combined role as HR Officer and Office Manager. In this interesting and varied role, you will run the main office and reception area of the school as well as delivering a high-quality HR, payroll and administrative service. Attention to detail is essential, together with the ability to prioritise jobs and meet deadlines. You will work closely with the Business Manager and will be responsible for a team of staff.
The successful applicant will have:
A background in HR and payroll
An approachable manner and excellent communication skills
