Human Resources Officer L4 (point 9-14)
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum
Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.45pm

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated HR Officer to join our friendly, and inclusive school, starting as soon as possible.
You will need to have a positive attitude, with the ability to keep accurate records and remain calm in a busy working environment.
We are seeking a highly organised, discreet and professional Human Resources Officer to join our busy school team. This is a key role supporting the leadership team and ensuring effective personnel administration and smooth day-to-day school operations.
The successful candidate will take lead responsibility for personnel administration, overseeing recruitment processes, pre-employment checks and the Single Central Record, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding and employment requirements.
You will work closely with the Co-Headteachers and Senior Leadership Team, will providing confidential administrative support, maintain up-to-date records and report on staffing matters including sickness triggers and welfare considerations. The role includes liaison with the Local Authority and external agencies, completion of statutory returns and attendance at relevant meetings to maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures.
In addition, you will play an important role in the daily running of the school office, welcoming visitors, operating the switchboard, handling correspondence and providing a comprehensive secretarial service. You will help maintain efficient administrative systems and contribute to ongoing improvements in office procedures.

have experience in personnel or school administration (desirable)
