What skills and experience we're looking for

Led by the Director of People, the HR Shared Services Team adopts a business partnering model with a relatively newly formed team consisting of HR Business Partners, HR Officers and HR Assistants.

As a key member of the HR Team, the HR Officer provides a comprehensive HR service to include:

  • Delivery of the people strategy in line with School/Area business plans and wider Trust strategic objectives
  • To be the first point of contact for their assigned school(s), managing recruitment, HR queries, processes and procedures and case work
  • Support schools with HR projects and change programmes which support the Trust’s people vision and strategy
  • Manage and co-ordinate all generalist HR matters ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and the Trust’s HR systems and operations
  • Gather and utilise HR management information (MI) to assess trends and enable effective performance measurement and targeting of resources

The post holder will be office-based 2-3 days per week and based primarily at their assigned secondary school with regular travel to their assigned primary school. In addition, they will be expected to work across the Trust and to travel between sites where necessary including but not limited to the Trust HR base at Marleigh Primary Academy.
