KS5 Careers and Personal Development Co-Ordinator job summary

This This is a key role within the school, providing support for students throughout their sixth form journey. Principal responsibilities will include:


*. Academic Progress & Coaching by conducting regular 1-to-1 coaching sessions with students to set targets, monitor progress, and develop reflective learning practices.

. *.UCAS & Post-18 Transitions, including the administration of the UCAS application process, assisting with Student Finance and Apprenticeship pathways, and supporting students with practical transition skills, including CV writing, personal statements, and interview preparation.

*.Developing enrichment and external partnerships, sourcing high-quality keynote speakers and bespoke external opportunities, as well as organising and overseeing promotional events to celebrate and market the Sixth Form.


* Pastoral Care & Safeguarding, including the administration and management of meetings associated with the 16-19 Bursary Fund, and foster an inclusive environment where all learners have equal access to opportunities.


* Administration & Operations, supporting the Key Stage 5 admissions and enrolment process, including crucial attendance during August results periods, and providing administrative and operational support for the consortium arrangements.

The role also requires the supervision of students on educational visits and out-of-school activities, as well as providing admin support for the Head of Sixth Form and the school's attendance process.
