About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Partner to join our growing school trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused HR professional to play a key role in supporting our schools, driving positive employee relations, and helping to create an environment where both staff and pupils can thrive.

As a trusted partner to school leaders, you will provide expert HR advice and guidance across a wide range of people matters, supporting the delivery of our people strategy and ensuring best practice throughout the employee lifecycle.

As HR Partner, you will:

  • Partner with Headteachers and senior leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support.
  • Advise on employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and organisational change.
  • Coach and develop managers to build confidence in managing people issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and safeguarding requirements.
  • Analyse workforce data and identify opportunities to improve organisational performance and employee engagement.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the trust.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Partner role.
  • Has strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Is confident managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Can work collaboratively across multiple sites and stakeholders.
  • Shares our commitment to supporting educational excellence through outstanding people practices.

Experience within the education sector is desirable but not essential.
