HR (People) Administrator job summary
As part of our central team, you’ll undertake a pivotal role in ensuring smooth HR operations across our schools—supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll processing, absence tracking and HR projects.
This is a permanent role, working 15 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 inset days and two additional weeks during school holidays (specific days to be agreed with line manager).
Our ideal candidate will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, bring experience in education HR, have excellent admin skills, keen attention to detail, a professional approach to working with our schools and proficiency in IT and social media.

The Selection Criteria document is critical in the process and sets out the requirements which the person appointed should have in order to perform the duties of the post satisfactorily and against which applicants will be assessed. The selection criteria will be used throughout the recruitment process as an objective test of assessing candidates at shortlisting, test and interview stages. Shortlisting will be completed by assessing against the advertised person specification. Our interviews will always include relevant questions relating to teaching and will include questions on child protection and/or safeguarding, behaviour and safety. There will also be an observation element to the selection day and a task.
