Humanities Teacher (Geography / History) job summary

We are looking for creative, talented and committed Humanities Teacher with a primary focus on Geography (0.75 FTE) but also delivering 0.25 FTE (Approx.) teaching within our History Department. You will pro-actively contribute to energetic and supportive teams by developing high quality learning experiences that develop students’ curiosity and fascination about the world. The successful applicant will be: A highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident teacher who enjoys delivering high quality, creative lessons and inspiring a love of Geography / History. Able to teach across the 11-18 age and ability range, including up to A-level. Able to secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students. An inspiring practitioner who keeps abreast of the latest developments in learning and teaching. Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school and be committed to extra-curricular activities. Have the personality to be a supportive Form Tutor.
