Humanities Teacher - Subject Lead job summary

Post is part time .8fte, but full time will be considered. Governors are seeking a highly driven and creative specialist teacher of any of the Humanities subjects to develop and deliver Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring a challenging and robust curriculum with the highest standards of classroom practice. Humanities is delivered in an integrated format in KS3. KS4 students may currently opt to study BTEC Travel and Tourism, although the successful candidate could consider alternatives as part of their curriculum review. The school has been awarded NAS Autism Accreditation and a comprehensive package of training will be provided. The post will also involve a pastoral role. Applications are welcome from specialist Humanities teachers with experience in primary, secondary, mainstream or special sectors.
