ICT Technician job summary

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic ICT Technician to join Halewood Academy. The successful candidate will work alongside the school’s ICT Network Manager, to provide effective ICT support to all ICT end users and support all aspects of the Academy’s IT network. This role also involves providing support to the school’s Reprographics function; with responsibility for printer maintenance and development, alongside administrative duties. They will be responsible for ensuring a high level of availability, reliability and customers service to all students and staff.


The role involves a demanding and varied workload in a very busy environment. You will be responsible for effective management of your time to ensure processes are followed, in a range of key areas.


Previous experience of working in a similar environment, with an understanding of school systems and structures would be desirable but is not essential.
