What skills and experience we're looking for

We welcome applications from excellent teachers who have:

  • Excellence classroom practice and are able to adapt teaching to meet need.

  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism.

  • Expertise in supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs, particularly those with a deep understanding of pupils who are at the earliest stages of language development.

  • Experience in designing and delivering bespoke curricula for pupils linked to their individual needs.

  • The ability to create communication-friendly and emotionally supportive environments.

  • The ability to adapt teaching for pupils with SEND and EAL, ensuring inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.

  • Confidence in working as part of a team, supporting and leading colleagues within the classroom

  • SENDCo experience preferred but not essential. However, a willingness to be the Hub SENDCo and earn the National SENDCo qualification is a must.
