What skills and experience we're looking for
We welcome applications from excellent teachers who have:
Excellence classroom practice and are able to adapt teaching to meet need.
Experience supporting pupils with Autism.
Expertise in supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs, particularly those with a deep understanding of pupils who are at the earliest stages of language development.
Experience in designing and delivering bespoke curricula for pupils linked to their individual needs.
The ability to create communication-friendly and emotionally supportive environments.
The ability to adapt teaching for pupils with SEND and EAL, ensuring inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.
Confidence in working as part of a team, supporting and leading colleagues within the classroom
SENDCo experience preferred but not essential. However, a willingness to be the Hub SENDCo and earn the National SENDCo qualification is a must.
