What skills and experience we're looking for
- Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Understanding of what makes ‘quality first’ teaching.
- Ability to evaluate effectiveness of SEN provision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of Pupil Premium
- Teaching experience, ideally across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
- Experience of working at a whole-school level
- Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning
- Experience of conducting training/leading INSET
- Designating Safeguarding Lead experience
