You will be working with a driven and supportive team, playing a key role in leading SEND and inclusion across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the strategic development of SEND provision, ensuring a clear vision and direction for inclusive practice.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and review of pupils with SEND, maintaining and updating the school’s SEND register and provision map.
  • Coordinate and chair EHCP reviews, Learning Plan meetings, and multi-agency support plans.
  • Support class teachers and teaching assistants with effective strategies, interventions, and differentiation to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Provide coaching and CPD to staff on inclusive practice, adaptive teaching, and behaviour for learning.
  • Develop and implement systems to track and monitor progress of SEND and vulnerable pupils.
  • Work closely with external partners including Educational Psychologists, SALT, Early Help, and Behaviour Support.
  • Champion the needs of vulnerable pupils ensuring inclusion extends beyond SEND.
  • Ensure that the school meets all statutory requirements relating to SEND and Inclusion.
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement planning.
