The position is part-time for three days per week, and the SENCO will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of pupils with additional needs. Our ideal candidate will hold a recognised SENCO qualification (NASENCO) or show a willingness to achieve either this or the forthcoming NPQ for SENCOs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Shares the vision and values of the school and aims for excellence at all times.
- Has a passion to make a difference and is a good communicator with a real ability to nurture, inspire and motivate vulnerable pupils.
- Has experience of working within a school and supporting pupils with their learning.
- Will be the Designated Teacher for Children in Care.
- Has a sense of humour.
